I'm new to beekeeping (and Portland Urban Beekeepers) this year, and currently have 2 hives (I believe one is Italian while the other is Carniolan).
The Carniolan hive seems to not be doing so well, and I was hoping I could talk to someone about some possible solutions to keep them healthy and productive. The Carniolan hive started from a 5 frame nuc, and the bees are down to only using about 3 frames. The queen is still around.
I live in forest park so I don't get a lot of sunlight, and I haven't been feeding the bees because I was hoping they would get enough food from the flowers in the forest and around the area.
I can provide photos, videos, and whatever else!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
