Would you like to be able to recognize an anaphylactic reaction and know how and when to provide an epinephrine injection? This free training course, organized by the Oregon Health Authority, is designed to provide non-medical personnel adequate training to safely and competently treat a person experiencing a severe allergic reaction, no matter the source--stinging insects, food, or a number of other triggers. Once the training and exam have been successfully completed, each participant will be provided with a "yellow card" that is a prescription for EpiPens. You would be responsible for the cost of the epinephrine should you choose to carry it.
Registration is FREE.
This will be held at Green Anchors. Address will be provided in the confirmation email.
