Location: Vancouver, WA. Exact location to be provided in registration confirmation email.

This is a hands-on class to learn the process of extracting and bottling honey. You will get to try several different uncapping tools, learn to use the motorized extractor and bottle honey. We will also teach you how to use a refractometer so you can be sure your honey has the correct water content and will not ferment. Plus: storing frames, extractor cleaning & lubricating, extractor safety, honey tasting.

This class is designed for beekeepers who have more than one year of beekeeping experience. This class fulfills the experience requirement needed to rent PUB's motorized extractor.

Lunch will be provided.
